Our partner, Complete Background Screening, is a Registered Umbrella Body that is approved for eBulk and therefore acts as counter-signatory for all your applications. We provide you with a fully branded system in which you have complete control over your staff, third party clients and all applications. Once the application is completed and submitted, CBS may check and counter-sign, automatically passing the application to the CRB.

You will have full visibility of the checks and a complete audit trail at any time. You will also be able to keep track of how many are processed, and by whom, through our reporting and charting systems. You will also have access to advice and guidance on legislative and regulatory information.
No, the system is entirely web based. We handle all backup and security issues as our solution has been approved by the CRB, Home Office and Ministry of Justice.
We provide one day’s training delivered over the web. Onsite training can be provided but may incur additional cost. The software is intuitive to use and one day is almost always long enough. There are also a number of help documents and videos.
Yes, it is completely straightforward. After you have input their company information, the system automatically creates and account and generates a username and password, sent via email. They can then log into the system and begin submitting applications to you. The system they see will branded as your company.
There is no limit to the number of customers you can set up or applications you can submit.
There is no long term contract – we operate on a software as a service model. You need to pay the monthly fee before the start of the month and we will need one month’s notice if you wish to terminate.
As well as making the monthly payments you will need to buy credits for the applications you intend processing, should you wish to use the PAYG model or ebulk 2000. You can purchase credits either using a credit or debit card, or via BACS payment. You can view and maintain your credits online. The credit system is essential because we pay the CRB strictly within 15 days.
The eBulk system is built using our MapItAndGO workflow software system. This means that this is just one of the things you can use this software for. Some of our customers use MapItAndGO to run their entire companies; others use it to provide overall control and link up individual systems such as CRM and SAGE. Yet others use it for linking systems across departments and out to their suppliers and customers. We have methods for rapidly extracting what you want to achieve, helping you map it out and then finally and quickly implementing.

There are a number of possible upgrade paths and we aim to make things as easy and cost-effective as possible. We would need to have a conversation about your ambitions to work with you and decide what is the best upgrade path for you.
We commit to keeping our software in line with the eBulk requirements. We currently have the approved and tested VBS system whoch can be added to the current product with no additional cost. However, should the requirements from the CRB change or legislative demands require additions to the solution, we reserve the right to charge for additional services.
It is your responsibility to ensure all necessary safeguards are in place. We will require you to sign various contractual agreements to this effect. However, we can also provide you with processing and contractual advice to pass to your third party clients so that you may ensure the responsibility for completion does not lie with your organisation. In this respect things are no different from paper-based submissions. Our system is designed to make things easier not less secure.
